Faculty Teaching Award for the course Final Storage Concepts I and II
The course Final Storage Concepts I and II was awarded the Faculty Teaching Prize.
The courses were nominated for the teaching award by the students as a very good example of outstanding teaching. In the explanatory statement, it was noted that the lecturers Prof. Klaus Fischer-Appelt and Dr. Frank Charlier inspire and motivate students with their varied lectures.
An excursion to the Bundesgesellschaft für Endlagerung (BGE) has recently been added to the interactive lecture series. The courses are characterized by a clearly recognizable structure with detailed lecture slides and summaries in the right places. The different levels of knowledge of the students with regard to the individual subject areas are also taken into account. The course, which has only been running for two years, has already been able to inspire some students during this time and has developed a lot since then.
