Follow-up report Pupils Uni 2023
From 31.07 to 04.08.2023, the Division of Mineral Resources and Raw Materials Engineering FRE and the Division of Materials Science and Engineering MuW again welcomed pupils from various schools to the Pupils' University of Engineering.
In workshops and lectures, the institutes of the divisions showed the students their research areas and how they contribute to product life cycles using the example of a cell phone.
The students gained insights into the implementation of research in industry on two excursions to Nivelsteiner Sandwerke and Saint-Gobain Sekurit in Herzogenrath.
At a joint barbecue with students from the two divisions, the students had the opportunity to talk directly with them and learn about studying from their point of view.
