Free Mover
If you have been wanting to study at a certain university for a long time and cannot attend it through ERASMUS+ or any other programme, then you have the opportunity to go abroad as a so-called Free Mover. As a Free Mover, you are theoretically free to study at any university of your choice. However, you have to take care of the financing yourself, for example tuition fee waivers, or bear the costs yourself. Scholarships, which you can also apply for as a Free Mover, can help with this.
The RWTH International Office registers all study-related stays abroad in order to identify, for example, which destinations are particularly interesting for RWTH students or in which degree programmes international mobility needs more support. Therefore, please register your stay abroad in the online form of RWTH Aachen University.
