ERASMUS+ study visit

ERASMUS+ is the abbreviation for "European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students". The European Union created the ERASMUS+ exchange program to promote the mobility of European students. This means that the aim is for as many students as possible to complete at least one part of their studies in another European country and in another European language. The aim is to ensure that university graduates are well qualified for their future careers in a Europe without borders.

RWTH Aachen University, and thus also the Department of Raw Materials and Waste Disposal Engineering (FRE), maintains the Europe-wide exchange of students within the framework of the EU program ERASMUS+. This program is based on so-called Bilateral Agreements. These are contracts that the FRE has concluded with a faculty at a foreign university. As a student of the FRE you can use existing cooperation agreements to spend one or two semesters (depending on the content of the agreement) in a European country abroad.

On the following pages we would like to inform you comprehensively about the possibilities you can use as a student of the FRE to go abroad.
